INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Introduction
The protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data is a fundamental right. Article 8(1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and Article 16(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) provide that everyone has the right to the protection of personal data concerning them.
Furthermore, as of 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), entered into force, introducing a stricter framework for the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (hereinafter the “Regulation”).
We hereby assure you that, for us, the group of companies IGMAR GROUP, with registered offices at Kato Pounta-Ampelakia, Salamina, 18902, Greece (hereinafter the “Group”), the protection of personal data is of primary importance. Within this framework, the Group processes personal data in accordance with the Regulation and the applicable national legislation in force from time to time. In particular, we always take appropriate measures to protect the personal data we collect and process (indicatively including full name, contact details, email address, telephone number, business address, information relating to content published on social media accounts we manage, Tax Identification Number, etc.) and to ensure that their processing is carried out in compliance with the obligations set under applicable legislation, both by us and by third parties processing personal data on our behalf.

What are the lawful grounds for processing your personal data?
We process the personal data we collect only when we have a lawful basis to do so, in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulation.
The lawful bases for processing personal data are the following:
(a) The provision and improvement of the services you assign to us and wish to receive from us, as well as our communication with you and management of our relationship, including responding to requests, queries or complaints you may submit and providing information regarding our services.
(b) Informing and providing information about our activities through the dispatch of Press Releases, Annual Reports and Newsletters, as well as updates you receive following your consent regarding our activities, which may be personalized based on your preferences.
(c) Compliance with our legal obligations arising from applicable legislation, including indicatively tax, accounting, employment, maritime and regulatory obligations, as well as obligations imposed by judicial or administrative authorities.
(d) The safeguarding and protection of our legitimate interests, as well as the legitimate interests of third parties, including our employees, partners, visitors and clients.
Within this context, we use closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and security cameras in order to protect the safety of individuals, assets, equipment and facilities, including vessels. Recorded material is retained for a limited period in accordance with applicable legislation and is automatically deleted, unless its retention is required for the investigation of a security incident.
When do we use your personal data?
When you subscribe to our contact lists by completing the relevant form available on our website, in order for us to send you informational material regarding our activities and services.
To whom are your data disclosed?
Your personal data may, where required, be disclosed to the following categories of recipients:
Public authorities and law enforcement bodies, including judicial, prosecutorial, administrative and tax authorities.
Partners and service providers (indicatively advertising agencies, IT companies, legal advisors) to whom we may assign the processing of personal data on our behalf. In such cases, third parties act as data processors and are contractually bound, in accordance with Article 28 of the Regulation, under a specific written agreement which, in particular, provides for their obligation to offer sufficient guarantees for the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational measures, so as to ensure the protection of personal data.
Data Retention Period
The retention period of personal data is determined based on the nature and purpose of the processing, as well as the applicable legal obligations, as follows:
Where processing is required by law, your personal data will be stored for as long as required by the relevant provisions.
Where processing is carried out on the basis of a contract, your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary for the performance of the contract and for the establishment, exercise and/or support of legal claims arising therefrom.
Where processing is carried out for the purposes of informing and promoting our activities (marketing actions), your personal data will be retained until you withdraw your consent.
What are your rights regarding your personal data?
Every natural person whose data are processed by the Group enjoys the following rights:
Right of access: You have the right to be informed and to verify the lawfulness of the processing of your data, as well as to obtain supplementary information, in accordance with Article 15 of the Regulation.
Right to rectification: You have the right to correct, update or modify your personal data, in accordance with Article 16 of the Regulation.
Right to delete: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, in accordance with Article 17 of the Regulation.
Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, in accordance with Article 18 of the Regulation.
Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data free of charge in a format that allows you to access them and to transmit them to another data controller, in accordance with Article 20 of the Regulation.
Right to object: You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, in accordance with Article 21 of the Regulation.
Right to withdraw consent: You have the right to freely withdraw the consent you have provided, in accordance with Article 7 of the Regulation.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Competent Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (hereinafter the “Competent Authority”) regarding issues relating to the processing of your personal data.

Processing Security
We inform you that we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the secure processing of personal data and to prevent accidental loss or destruction and unauthorized and/or unlawful access, use, modification or disclosure thereof, in accordance with Article 32 of the Regulation.
Cookies Policy
The Group’s website uses cookies, i.e. small text files stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. In this way, the website remembers your actions and preferences for a certain period in order to provide a more user-friendly service. Additionally, certain cookies serve the commercial display and/or promotion of the Group. The collective term “cookies” includes technologies such as cookies, flash cookies and web beacons.

Personal Data of Minors
The Group and our website are addressed to persons who have completed the age of eighteen (18). If, during data collection, it becomes apparent that the user is under this age, the Group will not process their personal data.
